Holiday hours
We will be closed for Good Friday, Friday April 6th. Dinner will resume the next night, Saturday April 7th.

On Side Restoration finished their work today. The company was amazing and was a pleasure to have around over the past week. The kitchen and storage rooms have new coats of paint but there is no food.
The kitchen needs a full day of prep tomorrow (it’s like opening on day one all over again) so we will not be open for dinner service until Wednesday.
On that note: no jokes about the smoked tuna ;-)

Not what I thought
It seems I have grossly underestimated the amount of cleaning that follows a fire. The restoration company has been working hard since Monday night but the kitchen needs to be painted and every little corner needs to be cleaned. Business should be back to normal on Tuesday January 10th.

A small fire but a big mess.
Last night, while we were closed, a plastic container filled with cloths went up in flames. The fire was restricted to the stainless steel table but the smoke damage is everywhere in both the dining room and kitchen. Hopefully we will be open by Thursday, January 5th
Holiday Hours
We will be closed for a just over a week from December 24th to January 3rd.
We finally have some Brasserie L’ecole aprons for sale. $35 plus tax.

Labour Day Weekend 2011
We will be closed this weekend from Saturday September 3rd to Monday September 5th inclusive. Dinner service will resume on Tuesday September 6th.

The New Site
We’ve gone live with our new web site at lecole.ca. The content has to be finished/cleaned up but we are really happy with the look. Our old web site was nearly ten years old and needed more than a fresh-up. Big thanks to Peter Bagi and his brother.
Content on the new site will be updated, with a correct phone number, very soon.
